We utilize Join.Me from time to time when working with partners and/or vendors who require easy access to see our desktop screens and make valid and authorized changes to our computer software and/or applications when something is not functioning correctly or ideally. It has been a mainstay of work with these type of IT support folks for a number of years.
  • Super easy remote control of computer for authorized individuals
  • Easy to join and share screens/information
  • Trusted, secure
  • Has become somewhat niche since Zoom and other applications can now provide similar built-in support
  • Single/primary use makes it somewhat irrelevant in current space
  • Limitations as far as types of conference interactions and video support
I would neither recommend nor dissuade anyone from using Join.Me. When it first came on the scene, it was a game-changer as far as providing remote access to other authorized individuals and helped save a great deal of time trying to walk someone less proficient through all the detailed steps of computer repair. However, with the proliferation of Zoom and other conferencing products that also provide built-in remote access through its service, the need for a separate application is now limited and not as essential as its own product.

We use for basically all our web conferencing needs. Since the tool offers great features and meets our needs, we use it across the whole organization. We use this tool when we need to conduct virtual meetings especially during the the covid-19 times. It has been helpful as some employees can work from home and still contribute to our virtual meetings. Join.me is also a great tool when it comes to inhouse communications.
  • With Join.me starting and ending virtual meetings is easy.
  • The quality of video and audio is amazing.
  • Join.me supports many participants during an web conferencing session.
  • Some times Join.me lags more so when the internet is poor.
  • The user interface is lacking - it could better.
  • The tool is not the most affordable.
Join.me is great when it comes to holding virtual meetings - web conferencing. This is because it offers great features such as quality audio and full HD video quality. In addition, many people can participate during a virtual meeting which is a plus.

One scenario where Join.me is not appropriate is when some participants are based in areas with poor internet coverage because the software lags and this can be annoying.

Every now and then my team gets into situations where it would benefit us in our new remote work status scenarios that we have the ability to screen share and control other users computers. Join.me solves for both those scenarios in one easy to use software package. With my IT background it's often easier and quicker for me to solve a lot of my teams PCs issues instead of waiting for IT to address. With it's remote control abilities I can do just that.
  • Screen sharing
  • Remote computer control from anywhere
  • Easy to install and get up and running
  • Certain features can be a little hard to find
  • Not the best user interface compared to some of the more expansive competitors
If you're on a bit of a budget the pricing for Join.me definitely makes it an easy choice. We were able to download it and get it up and running for free on a few of my teammates PCs that needed assistance with some computer setup. It can be a little confusing to access some of the features at first but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy to use. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for extremely large meetings, but it's excellent for smaller groups.

Join.me has been used for our webconferencing tool - helping to connect remote teams as well as internal teams with current and potential customers.
  • Join.me makes it easy to join meetings quickly
  • Join.me makes it easy to set up different accounts
  • Join.me has features that makes it easy to engage and focus on the content being presented
  • The video quality can be improved
  • Adding more engagement features like Zoom
  • Can be better at key integrations like with SalesForce
I think in general, Join.me has not been able to compete with the features of Zoom or the ease of Google Hangouts. It certainly works fine for web conferencing, but has not been able to keep up with the benefits of other solutions.

We used [Join.me] company wide because to whole meetings with our users that are remote due to the covid. It is easy to access and send out invites. Using the computer to schedule and talk to one face to face is great and you can work around everyone schedule. Users do not have to worry about coming in the office for a short meeting or a longer meeting. You can also easily have multiple meetings per day.
  • Having last minute meetings
  • Easily create invites
  • Easily send out or edit invites
  • Sometimes meetings don't connect
Join.me works well for remote users because of COVID unfortunately. During bad weather you can sit in the comfort of your own home and meet without worry. You don't have to worry about missing meetings. You can set alerts appropriately to not miss a meeting. You can easily add people or remove.

When I worked in corporate, [Join.me] was the go to product for hosting web virtual meetings. Used join.me as join a virtual meeting. When working remote this was the best method to communicate with team members.
  • Easy access to the product
  • Very user friendly, intuitive product
  • Great for virtual meetings
  • Easy connection to utilize product
  • I remember times when using the link that someone sent didn't work
  • It wasn't always consistent
[Join.me is] well suited when you have a need for a quick meeting. Just send out the link and person can jump on quickly.

Doesn't work as well when there is a large number of meeting participants. Found that the links didn't always work.

Some of our users are using the free version and it is serviceable. It works but has limitations. I think it is in the second tier of options within the video conferencing realm. Zoom, Webex, and GoToMeeting have a deeper feature set. It works but not anyone's favorite here.
  • Free.
  • Easy to use.
  • Limited features.
  • Slow at times.
If you need something periodically this could be the answer but I do not consider this an enterprise system. It has several shortcomings and it is not a great setup. I do not anticipate using it again in a professional manner or workplace environment. Zoom, Webex, etc. cost what they do for a reason.

We have used it to screen share for technical support issues
  • It hosts meetings really well with out being overly complicated
  • The install process was simple not too many questions
  • It seemed to work the first time with any errors.
  • I wish the pricing was more competitive with similar programs
  • I wish it worked on the Amazon platform it would be helpful for tablet users
  • I wish it had a plugin for Safari
It is suited when you just need a quick meeting one time or something

We used Join.Me for conference and video calls for staff meeting at my previous organization. We tried using it as a cross multiple sites but we found some features were not very intuitive for staff who are not familiar with technology.
  • The platform is visually appealing
  • Connection is stable most of the time
  • The content sharing feature can be sharpened up a lot to make it more reliable
  • An option to combine users who are using their computer video and a phone for audio would also create less confusion on larger calls
With platforms like Zoom, Google Chat, and Teams having far better superior functionality, Join.Me has a lot of improvements to get back into competition. Join.Me had a reputation that it was one of the first platform to introduce easy to use video features 5 years ago but there has not been a lot of improvements since then.

A client recommended Join.me to us at a time when we were looking for a lightweight video conferencing solution for sales presentations and team meetings. Now we use Join.me as a pitching/presentation tool and quick team meetings as an alternative to Skype and Zoom. Our primary use cases are sales presentations and team project update meetings. We see it as an easy to set up tool and there is no need to download anything so you can send out a link and start a meeting almost immediately (as long as you have participants!)
  • No need to download anything to get started. Once you sign up you can get started from within your browser. This is probably the single best feature, its a get up and go solution for video conferencing and you do not need any software for it to work.
  • The one click join a meeting URL is genius. Users who struggle with remembering passwords or invites can just click a link and immediately participate in a meeting which means one email and a couple of clicks and a meeting can start.
  • Good control features - As the main user, you have many control features including deciding who can speak, annotations, screen sharing easily.
  • Screen Recordings to the Cloud - This can save on time when you have had a long conference, you can save a recording to the cloud and download it later.
  • There is no free tier version beyond a free trial. It would be good if there was a free version of some sort.
  • If you have a large meeting, it can be a bit unstable, whether this is connectivity or the platform itself is hard to say.
  • Mobile Apps do not offer the same experience as the web experience, you can find yourself kicked out of a meeting while other participants may still be in the same meeting. Some synergy between the web and mobile apps would be great.
I think Join.me would be ideal for smaller meetings of say under 50 people. Team meetings, client pitches, collaborations are just a few scenarios where Join.me may be useful. If you have a bigger meeting with more than 50 participants, you may need to look for another solution.

Join.me is a wonderful tool to get connected with people and colleagues. I have been using it for a long time and have found its features so flexible and helpful. We can even connect with people outside our region. We can communicate without any distortion and above all its staff is another plus point of it because of its supportive behavior. But we think its interface should be made more user-friendly for the ease of its users.
  • Join.me has provided us many features that made it possible for us to communicate.
  • Another plus point is its staff which is pretty good ‘professional and highly supportive and is always there for help.
  • We can also connect with people outside our region and with its advanced functionality we have found it as the best audio conference software than any other software of its type.
  • it has made our audio meeting experience very effective.
  • There should be a complete guide to understand its features before installation because if one feature will be missed then, we can’t get them working properly.
  • Furthermore, there should be high-quality internet for getting its function and it won’t work without good network coverage.
  • I think its interface is a little hard for beginners and is not that user friendly.
Join.me is excellent in providing real-time management for socializing the business on different social forums. The deals are perfect and it supports the system by managing the live conversations. We can communicate via video conference and it works on a super configuration rate. Moreover, our clients can talk to us for 24-hours and we are getting its services through its mobile app. It is very easy to install and its usage is precise to understand its features. The most amazing feature is live streaming the business conferences.

Our team worked directly with companies to generate business opportunities for their sales teams. It is incredibly important to be able to get both our team and our client’s team together to discuss messaging and what we have found in our discussions with target prospects. In many cases, the teams were in different states. We used Join.Me not only to connect and talk but also share screens to go over data points and strategize any changes to who we target or how we approach those targets.
  • Screen sharing works very well and especially in today’s climate can help make meetings far more effective.
  • I’ve used other platforms like Microsoft Teams that have been incredibly difficult to reliably connect to calls or stay connected. Join.Me has always been stable when in use and very rarely has any hiccups in connecting which is extremely important when conference calls are the only way to communicate.
  • The UI is intuitive and user-friendly. It is extremely easy for a new user to pick up and use effectively quickly. I’ve used other platforms where some features are not apparent and you may completely miss, while Join.Me’s UI is easy to navigate and learn quickly.
  • Great recording feature which I used for creating product demos that could be shared with our clients so they can see a prospect's question and reactions to different features of the software I am demoing.
  • In my experience when using the mobile app the quality drops when on cellular data, even with a strong signal. Given the current challenges, teams Face ID like to see the mobile capabilities get some improvement as it doesn’t seem to be optimized when not on a PC or wireless network.
Join.Me is great in almost any scenario you are connecting with other people and need to share information. Particularly when there are a larger number of people on a call. Join.Me lends itself to group collaboration as for the most part it has great connection and the screen share is top-notch. The only issue I run into is when using cellular data where even in the best service areas doesn’t perform as well as other options like Zoom. If you plan on working from home or have a good wireless network you should be fine but if the majority of folks are going to be connecting on cellular networks I would explore different options.

Join.me is being utilized as a tool for video conferencing, remote sessions, and audio calls. It is a great tool and is an alternative to tools such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams, and others. It efficiently addresses issues such as our users needing to meet remotely and in a safe environment.
  • Video conferencing is very smooth through the process, easy to navigate.
  • Option for audio only really helps when video is not needed.
  • Customer Support is a phone call away and easy accessible.
  • The user navigation of the tool itself can be a bit more user-friendly for non-IT.
  • Price point can be found elsewhere for cheaper.
  • More participants can cause some lagging.
Join.me is well suited in any environment where web-conferencing is needed, as well as remote sessions and audio conferencing. In smaller environments, this may be over the top for the price you pay.

Join.me is used for all our video conferencing communication. The sales department uses it to run their demos and the operations department uses it to do client trainings and customer support. Internally, we use Join.me to hold conference calls with team members that are out of office. It's a super helpful way to increase communication!
  • Ease of Use
  • Sound Quality
  • Fewer Features
  • Quality decreases with too many participants
This is really great for customer facing needs. One of the reasons it is so good for customer facing interactions is because there is no software that needs to be downloaded in order to join the call. Everything is web based. This prevents the usual issues that come along with other competitors.

We use Join.me across the company. To share screens for demonstrations of new activities as well as for collaborating on works in progress.
  • Very clear visual engagement.
  • Smooth transition of sharing control among users.
  • Audio controls -- we prefer to use phones for voice contact during screen sharing.
Join.me is easy to connect with other users for a clear view of screens during sharing. Exchange of sharing privileges is also a simple process.

Join.me is the tool we use on a day to day basis to show our software to potential clients. We use it to screen share our software and take clients through our demonstration. It also has the capability of being the platform we use to speak to clients if it's not done via phone calls separately. It is used by our implementation teach to train current users of our software or our Sales team with the goal of selling the software. We do not travel to the properties to do these so the screen share helps us in the simple fact we don't have to leave the office.
  • Easy to get potential clients on the demonstration from their site.
  • User-friendly platform.
  • Customized emails to send over to people with calendar invites attached as well.
  • Lag time - I understand it depends on the internet access by both parties but either way can be extremely frustrating.
  • Recording a demonstration could be easier.
It is definitely well suited for a company that does not plan on traveling to show their product. It is easy to do screen sharing as well as meetings on the go internally with the team. It's not well suited I believe with higher up clientele just because the lag could show or present a poor representation of the product you're trying to sell.

We use Join.me for all conference calls so that participants can join meetings regardless of their location and that way we have higher participation most of the time.
  • User-friendly.
  • Cost-effective.
  • No learning curve.
  • Make it easier to use on mobile apps.
  • Easier installation so it can act as a web add-on.
  • Cheaper options are available.
I would recommend this application to any team that frequently needs conference calls that has users joining from any location without any limitations to conduct seamless meetings. On the flip side, it would be great to have integrations with other collaborations platforms such as Skype, Teams etc. Overall, a decent product with checking out.

We use Join.me both by a department or across the whole organization. We have many off-site workers and this allows us to train staff using the same tools because we are learning at the same time.
The business problems it addresses is clarity in meetings and training because we all get the same information at the same time.
  • The Join.me app is user-friendly.
  • The Join.me app is intuitive, an example is navigating from assigning someone to take command of the screen is just a click and to retrieve control back is also just a click.
  • The connectivity and setting up meetings is practically done for you...copy and paste the link in an email for the fellow participants to join and connect.
  • I don't have any input on this. I've been happy with everything thus far.
Join.me is known in our industry and has been consistent in being available for conference use, so we don't usually look outside Join.me for a tool to use in out meetings that reach outside our 4 walls. It would only be "less suited" if we could obtain better communication in person.

Our company use Join.me for many things. Join.me is used by our sales team for one-on-one product demos and sales. Our marketing department uses it for webinars (I think the limit is 50 people before you upgrade to the next tier). Customer care uses Join.me to provide professional development and one-on-one training.
  • Users don't need to install software to join a meeting. This is a tremendous asset. We are able to just send a link to a customer and they can click to join.
  • Join.me can record a video of the meeting.
  • Excellent control over the group. You mute individuals or the whole group and share the presenter role quickly.
  • Lags *IF* the guest has a poor internet connection and you are doing audio + screen share through the computer. If you do audio via the phone then it's not an issue. By "lag" I meant that when you show a slide, the guest may be seeing the prior slide for a few seconds.
  • Lags when you have a large audience. Once I ran a webinar with 200+ people join and once I got past 75 guests people were not able to connect to me anymore.
Join.me is ideal for one-on-one meetings whether for sales or support. It's great because the user doesn't need to download software and because it works well with Google calendar. For instance, when you make a Google cal event, a Join.me link can be created automatically. These two reasons make it very ideal for one-on-one meetings.

We are regularly invited to Join.me conferences where there is the need for a fully immersive experience. Specifically where the team needs to speak, see and collaborate on the work that they are doing. This has tended to be done via Join.me more recently due to ease of use that I'll cover in this review.
  • No installation requirements
  • Multi platform support
  • Low bandwidth requirements
  • Ease of use
  • Good support
  • Sometimes configuring custom setups has been troublesome on users' machines (weird mic setups etc)
It's great for collaboration where you want to talk and share your screen, it lacks some of the more advanced features that Webex has, like file sharing but is really simple for the users to get operational and start working with, which I have found is the key requirement here.

Join.me has been used for conference calls as well as screen sharing. It solves the problem of sharing content, or viewing/troubleshooting an issue a client has with their website. Join.me is used by various departments throughout my organization for video and web conferencing for meetings. We often need to have meetings to share information across company departments, functions, and geographic areas. Join.me allows those who need to host a meeting to share critical information with others virtually to do so quickly and easily, plus share presentation elements including documents/information and videos.
  • Ease of use - the Join.me product and platform are very easy to use, even if it is someone's first time.
  • Trial option - the company offers a free trial option, which is great if a company isn't sure how it would work for them - they can test it out without making an investment.
  • Help section - the company's help section is really useful and it's fairly easy to search if you need help figuring something out.
  • No password protection - you can't protect a meeting with a password that you only share with intended participants. Instead, participants have to "knock" to be let in - but that means someone has to be on the lookout for those requests.
  • Limits to the whiteboard - the whiteboard functionality is limited to tablets, which is a bummer if you have many participants on their work desktop computers or laptops.
  • Screen sharing - sometimes it won't work on particular browsers.
Join.me is a great video conferencing service for small to medium companies who need to host video and/or web meetings frequently but not with a ton of "bells and whistles" like tons of high-resolution video and graphics. On the other hand, if a company needs to do a lot of virtual meetings and communicating with a client or potential clients and wants to ensure they look as sharp and professional as possible, this might not fit the bill.

My entire organization uses this meeting tool for quick one-on-one meetings, customer troubleshooting, and group meetings across departments. I love that it is quick and simple to launch and pass control from user to user. We easily accomplish with a 5 minute screenshare what would take 10 minutes of typing to solve using Slack. Once it's installed as a widget on your computer, just launch it from your dock to have a meeting or screenshare up within 30 seconds.
  • Quick launch - start your meeting with your custom URL at a moments notice
  • Good audio - join using your computer audio to be 'in the meeting' quickly with clear tones
  • Quick join - join.me saves your most frequently joined meetings in the modal, so you can type in a colleagues name to jump on their meeting right away.
  • First-time download - sometimes our customers have trouble joining that first meeting and since I can't see what they see, I don't know how to help.
I love this software best for impromptu meetings among colleagues. I usually use this for smaller meetings (one-on-one or two other guests, for example. I don't love it for large, company wide meetings or webinars where you need to keep track of comments coming in and where you need to send out a recording of the meeting later on.

Our organization was using Join.me for our conference calls with clients and within the organization between employees. It was being used to address the business problems of communications and developing client intimacy. Unfortunately, due to our frustrations with the product and finding a better product, we cancelled our subscription with Join.me.
  • Easily recognizable by clients
  • Easy to share meeting code
  • Can create a free account to demo
  • Audio quality
  • Video quality
  • Being able to record and edit audio and video easily
Join.me works fine, and works well for your average small group conference calls. It is very nice that it has a free feature and is user-friendly for clients. However, I think it is less appropriate if you're looking to get more advanced with your features, such as hosting major webinars with dozens of clients. In addition, our major frustration was that we liked to record our webinars and then edit them to share, which was not easy, nor was it a feature that Join.me enabled.
